Lamar Waldon—also known as **Dariss Lamar Waldon—is a playwright, actor, director, and singer based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has built a reputation for creating lively, heartfelt stories that blend humor, faith, and the everyday complexities of relationships. His most recognized work, the stage play I Do, I Don’t, showcases his ability to mix comedy and emotional truth in a way that resonates with diverse audiences. The production has been performed at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center and features a cast known for its energetic performances and memorable character work.
Waldon’s creative voice extends beyond the stage. Through his YouTube channel, he shares skits, character impressions, musical performances, and podcast-style conversations, including episodes from his series Black Men Matters.
